About Bakso Malang Anomalies

Embark on a chilling culinary journey into a virtual world where the savory aroma of bakso mingles with the unsettling presence of the supernatural. Bakso Malang Anomalies, also known as "Curse of the Bakso," is a first-person psychological horror experience on Roblox developed by ifqiyeh. This isn't your ordinary food vending experience; it's a test of nerve, a challenge of quick reflexes, and a deep dive into the eerie lore surrounding a seemingly simple street food stall. Step into a world where culinary passion meets spine-chilling horror, set in a remote bakso stall, deep within a haunted forest or dimly lit urban setting.

Upon arrival, the setting transforms into a dimly lit, rustic bakso stall, reminiscent of Indonesian street vendors operating after dusk. The atmosphere is immediately tense, with dim lighting and eerie fog enveloping the surrounding area. Your primary objective is to survive until 6:00 AM by serving correct orders and correctly identifying whether a customer is human or a supernatural entity. You must prepare Bakso noodles by placing bowls, adding noodles, meatballs, tofu, vegetables, sauces, and finally packaging the order. Use your Third Eye (mata batin) ability activated by pressing Q to detect anomalies, and follow the mysterious rules posted in your stall. The initial phase acts as a tutorial, guiding players through the steps of preparing a bowl of bakso.

The game features over 40 unique encounters with three main categories: normal customers who must be served promptly, safe/special anomalies requiring specific actions (like villagers with green babies), and dangerous anomalies that will end your shift if served. The rules highlight critical exceptions to normal service: a 'Granny ghost' (nenek gendong) with a baby on her shoulder must be served but not stared at, customers might give tips, avoiding sitting down when serving to prevent being fired, using a 'Third Eye' (Q) to confirm anomalies (but not for too long, as overuse can lead to being cursed or dragged into the demon world), and specifically serving villagers with green babies. Financial rules are also clear: Rp. 12,000 for Bakso Noodles and Rp. 7,000 for drinks. Crucially, if you see blood dripping from the meatball, you must sit down immediately. If a customer deliberately pays less than required or demands discounts, this violates pricing rules and counts as an anomaly hit.

As the night progresses, the bakso stall attracts an increasingly bizarre clientele. From motorcyclists who safely order straightforward meals to the appearance of entities like 'Banaspati' (a fiery demon who declares 'I'm going to BURN YOU!!!'), 'Nona' (a disembodied voice that screams 'GRRRRRRRR' and rampages with red lights flashing), 'nenek gendong' (a carrying grandmother ghost), 'pocong' (shrouded ghost), 'kuyang' (a flying head with entrails that forces players to immediately take cover), 'sundel bolong' (a ghostly figure that silently glides past), 'keranda terbang' (flying coffin), 'Anomali Perang' (a shadowy figure that chases players through tunnels), and even doppelgangers of the players. Successfully identifying normal customers versus anomalies using the 'mata batin' while adhering to strict rules becomes paramount to survival. The work extends beyond the stall, requiring delivery requests on a yellow motorbike down dark, desolate alleys. With daily updates from the developer, new content is constantly being added.

Core Mechanics

Third Eye (Q Key)

Your primary detection tool that allows you to see things not visible to the naked eye. Press Q to activate supernatural vision. However, using it for too long will drain your sanity or invite unwanted attention.

Cooking & Service

Prepare bowls of Bakso noodles by following specific customer orders. Serve real customers promptly to avoid errors. Before serving, determine if the customer is "Normal" or an "Anomaly."

The Shutter

If a customer is dangerous or an anomaly is detected, close your shop shutter immediately to protect yourself and refuse service.

The Inspector (2:00 AM)

Around 2:00 AM, an empty car will pull up. Stop all work, exit through the back door, stand outside, and do NOT look back until inspection is over. Looking results in instant death.

Detection Strategy

Visual Cues

Look for distorted limbs, missing faces, glowing eyes, black marks on skin, wrong colors, extra limbs, or distorted features.

CCTV Test

Always check your security cameras. Some anomalies only reveal their true form on the monitor or when Night Vision is toggled.

Third Eye Test

Some anomalies look human on camera but reveal horrific features when viewed with your Third Eye. Use strategically.

Audio Hints

Listen closely. Some anomalies have "glitched" voices or make unnatural sounds that give them away before reaching the window.
